Hi, we’re Jake & Mel

Mel is a Washington born creative who has called Las Vegas home for the past nine years. Jake, a California native, moved to Vegas two years ago with a mind made for the map. Together, we’re a couple that traded comfort and routine for something wilder: a mission to explore every single country in the world — and show you what love, people, and adventure really look like along the way.

Our Story

We met on a dating app, like many modern stories, but didn’t cross paths until fate stepped in months later. One spontaneous October night in Las Vegas, we ran into each other after Mel’s shift at the casino. The rest? That night changed everything.

From that moment, we were inseparable. One night while lying in bed, Jake turned to Mel and asked,
"What if we traveled to every country in the world… together?"

She said yes — and the journey began.

Why We’re Doing This

This isn’t just about passport stamps or viral reels. It’s about something deeper:

To see the beauty in places we’ve only dreamed of
To show others that people from every corner of the world are good, kind, and not so different from you and me
To live boldly and love freely, no matter where we are

We’re not in a rush. Whether it takes 3 years or 10, we’re committed to the journey — with open minds and wide eyes.

And because Las Vegas has been home for both of us, our journey is proudly called From Vegas to Everywhere.
